Grange to host free holiday concert

Nov 26, 2016

The Dartmouth Grange will host its holiday concert — featuring the Band of Friends from Friends Academy — on Tuesday, December 6.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. at the 1133 Fisher Road location. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Grange will collect winter clothes — including gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, and jackets — at the concert for people in need. Items will be distributed to Foster Care, Sister Rose’s House, and Grace House in New Bedford. New or gently used items can be for any age, girls or boys, women or men.

Band of Friends is a chorus of Friends Academy students in grades 3-5, lead by Teachers Putnam Murdock, Jim Bean, and Jacqueline Maillet (all who co-direct and accompany the group on piano/keyboard, guitar, and banjo).
