Grange movie night is Jan. 8

Jan 3, 2016

The Farmer Film & Potluck series will return to the Dartmouth Grange on Friday, Jan. 8.

The feature film will be “Row Hard, No Excuses.” The film was directed by Luke Wolbach of Skinny Dip Farm of Little Compton, Rhode Island.

The film chronicles two men, John Zeigler and Tom Mailhot, as they compete in the Atlantic Rowing Challege, a 3,000-mile race from the Canary Islands to Barbados. The two spent three years working toward winning and were among the oldest competitors in the race. As a sport, ocean rowing has been around since the mid-90s.

Visit the film's website at rowhardnoexcuses.org.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., the potluck begins at 6 and the movie begins at 6:30.

Volunteers are needed to help in the kitchen and to help clean up after the evening. Those interested in volunteering can contact Sarah at cogswell.sarah3@gmail.com.
