Hazardous Waste Day is October 24

The next household hazardous waste collection day for Dartmouth residents will be on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Crapo Hill Landfill, 300 Samuel Barnet Blvd., New Bedford.
ID is required. Households only; no businesses, schools, or contractors.
All types of household hazardous wastes will be accepted including oil-based paints, paint thinner and waste fuels.
Items such as motor oil, antifreeze, fluorescent light bulbs, TVs, and propane tanks should be taken to the Dartmouth Transfer Station.
Due to Covid-19 protocols, materials must be placed in the trunk, pickup truck bed, or back of SUV. Materials will not be accepted from seats of vehicles or handed to staff.
Stay in your vehicle. Anyone exiting a vehicle will be asked to leave.
Masks will be required for entry.
