Here’s what you need to know about the April 4 election

Voters will soon head to the polls. Here is what you need to know before you cast your ballot.

Election day is Tuesday, April 4. Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

The last day to register to vote in the election is Saturday, March 25. Registration can be completed at the town clerk's office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. More information about registering to vote and the required documentation can be found here

The polling precincts are as follows: 

1 North Branch Library – 211 Cross Road

2 Smith Mills Church Hall – 11 Anderson Way 

3 UMASS Dartmouth-285 Old Westport Road

4 Dartmouth Bible Church – 52 Morton Avenue 

5 Town Hall – 400 Slocum Road

6 COA – 628 Dartmouth Street

7 DYAA – Crapo Field – 225 Russells Mills Road 

8 Southworth Library – 732 Dartmouth Street 9 COA– 628 Dartmouth Street

The only contested race in this election is for the School Committee. Voters will be able to vote for two of the five candidates running.
