Hilda (Barboza) Cordeiro, 92, of Dartmouth passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, surrounded by her family in the home where she was born and lived her entire life. She was the wife of the late Narcizo "Naz" Cordeiro, and the daughter of the late John and Maria (Leite) Barboza.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.

Survivors include three sons, Bob and his wife Sandy of Parrish, Florida, Steve and his wife Becky of Marlborough, and Dave and his wife Donna of Dartmouth; two sisters, Laurie Clark of New Bedford and Agnes Gaspar of Dartmouth; a brother, Ernest Barboza of New Bedford; six grandchildren, Russell Cordeiro of New York, LeeAnn Malko of Florida, Susan Curran of Hudson, Eddie Cordeiro of Coventry, Rhode Island, Kellie Faulkner of Taunton, and Brent Cordeiro of New Bedford; and five great-grandchildren, Kyle, Chad, Carly, Bella, and Ariana.

She was the sister of the late Mary Pacheco and Olive Texeira.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 14 at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth. Visiting hours are omitted.
