Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society set the date for its annual members meeting for the year for Oct. 22 at 2 p.m.

The meeting will include a small amount of business, followed by a talk on “Colonial Land Surveying: Benjamin Crane and his work surveying early Dartmouth.”

The event is free and open to the public, and will take place at Russells Mills Schoolhouse.
