The Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society will be hosting a talk on women’s history by local author Peggi Medeiros at the Russells Mills Schoolhouse from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 15.

Medeiros, a historical researcher and author of the recent book “Harriet Jacobs in New Bedford,” will be speaking about abolitionist, writer, and former slave Harriet Jacobs during the talk, titled “Harriet Jacobs and Women’s History.”

Refreshments will be served and a $5 donation per person is suggested.

The Russells Mills Schoolhouse is located at 1205 Russells Mills Road.
