Home Covid tests available at Town Hall

Jul 8, 2022

Dartmouth residents can now pick up free at-home Covid 19 tests at Town Hall, the Board of Health announced Thursday.

Recently, the town received a shipment of approximately 6,000 rapid tests, Public Health Director Chris Michaud said.

All of the acquired tests are iHealth antigen rapid tests, which take 15 to 20 minutes to use and are also available in retail stores. Two tests come in each box.

Test kits can be picked up Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Board of Health office located at the lower level of Town Hall, Room 119.

Proof of residency is required.

Additionally, residents can order kits by mail from the federal government. To place an order, visit covidtests.gov

No ID, credit card, or health insurance information is required.
