DARTMOUTH — The Humane Society & Shelter SouthCoast, 31 Ventura Drive, is hosting an Easter basket raffle. 

Through April 1, people can visit the shelter, view the baskets donated by local businesses, individuals, shelter staff members and volunteers, and purchase raffle tickets. 

The baskets are on view at the shelter lobby. Tickets are $10 for 10 tickets, or $26 for 20 tickets and all proceeds go towards supporting the shelter.

Visitors can also meet with the shelter’s animals.

The shelter is open from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 

The live streaming drawing is April 1 at 4 p.m.  on Facebook.

Pet Photos with the Easter Bunny can also be taken from 2 to 4 p.m. April 1. The cost is $10 per photo.
