Jewish book club to discuss Amos Oz's Judas

Mar 30, 2017

The Jewish Culture Book Club will next meet on May 1 at noon at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's Campus Center Conference Room.

The club will discuss "Judas," by Amos Oz, which centers on Shmuel Ash, a Biblical scholar living in Jerusalem in 1959. Ash takes up a job as a caregiver for an elderly man and the daughter of a deceased Zionist leader. Piece by piece, the old Jerusalem stone house, haunted by tragic history and now home to the three misfits, reveals its secrets.

Lunch will be served at the discussion.
