John R. Almeida, 30, of Westport, died on March 31, 2018.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of John V. and Suzanne (Fritze) Almeida. He was a communicant of St. George Church in Westport.

He lived in Dartmouth prior to moving to Westport.

Including his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Barbara Fritze of Dartmouth, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Private arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
