John S. Nunes, 75

John S. Nunes, 75, of Dartmouth, died May 26, 2025, at home. Husband of Carol A. (Ventura) for 54 years and son of the late Howard and Shirley (Sunderland) Levine.

Born in Acushnet, John lived in Dartmouth for 47 years and retired as a stationary engineer from Somerset Power Plant.

He is survived by his wife; sons Tim (Wendy) of New Bedford and J.J. (Kristin) of Dartmouth; six grandchildren: Tyler, Riley, Mackenzie, Matthew, Jared, Nathan; great-granddaughter: Bryce and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Loretta (Nunes) Bieu.

John enjoyed cycling, tennis, New England Patriots, and daily Dunkin visits with friends. He loved supporting his children's and grandchildren’s sporting events and cherished time with family.
