The Knights of Columbus will host its annual “Get Hooked on Fishing, Not On Drugs” fishing derby on August 3. 

The derby will be held from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Mello’s Pond. The pond is located on Old Westport Road one mile west of UMass Dartmouth at the end of a dirt lane. 

The derby is free to enter, and is open to children between the ages of six and 16. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Bait will be provided.
