Learn how to volunteer on the South Coast

Have some time and want to help out South Coast communities?

Consider attending the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries’ presentation on volunteering on the South Coast. 

The presentation will occur on Thursday, May 16 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Haskell Room at the Southworth Branch and will be given by Victoria Grasela, vice president of Marketing and Community Engagement at United Way of Greater New Bedford. 

Grasela will discuss how to search for volunteer opportunities using Volunteer SouthCoast, a free online database that connects volunteers with opportunities locally, specially she will be showing ways volunteers can find opportunities that match their interests and schedules. She will also help attendees set up profiles and learn how to track their hours and impact.
