As part of this month’s Open Farm Day, scheduled for Oct. 15, Round the Bend farm will hold a workshop on cornhusk weaving.

The workshop will be led by Elizabeth James-Perry, an Aquinnah Wampanoag artist, who will teach cornhusk weaving using naturally dyed cornhusks.

Farm-fresh items and locally made or crafted creations will also be available for sale throughout the day. Patrons can also take a hayride tour of the farm: one at 10:30 a.m. and one at 12:30 p.m.

Open Farm day runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The farm is located at 92 Allen Neck Road.
