SALE OF SURPLUS “1997 FORD SUPER DUTY BUCKET TRUCK”

The Dartmouth Fire District No.1 Prudential Committee, 10 Bridge Street, Dartmouth, MA 02748 (“the Awarding Authority”), invites online bids for the sale of one (1) 1997 Ford Super Duty Bucket Truck (the “Vehicle”). The vehicle has been declared surplus equipment by the Dartmouth Fire District No.1 Fire Chief and Prudential Committee and is no longer in service. The vehicle will be sold in “as is” condition with no warranty expressed or implied. The Prudential Committee urges all prospective bidders to rely entirely upon their own inspection and due diligence.

The vehicle will be available for inspection at the Fire Station, 10 Bridge Street, Dartmouth, MA. Inspections will be held by appointment ONLY, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.. Specifications are available online at Municibid.com and at the Fire Station, 10 Bridge Street, Dartmouth, MA, through Friday, August 20, 2021 at 12:00 P.M.. All Bids must be submitted ONLINE. There will be a 9% BUYERS Premium. Online Bids will be accepted until August 20, 2021 at 1:00 P.M..

The vehicle will be awarded to the highest responsive bidder in conformity with all the terms and conditions spelled out in the online notice of sale. The Prudential Committee reserves the right to reject any and all bids when deemed to be in the best interest of the District. The winning bidder must submit a signed non-collusion form to the District prior to the receipt of the vehicle. The minimum acceptable bid is $15,000.00.
