Notice is hereby given under M.G.L., Chapter 41, Section 81-T (The Subdivision Control Law); M.G.L., Chapter 40A, Section 11 (The Zoning Act), and the Dartmouth Zoning Bylaws, Article 11 (Open Space Residential Development), of a PUBLIC HEARING to be held at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2020. As the Town Office Building is closed to the public for meetings during the COVID-19 emergency per the Governor’s ban on public gatherings. The Governor has issued an emergency order allowing municipal boards to temporarily conduct their business through videoconferencing platforms. This public hearing will have no physical location but rather will only be held remotely through the Zoom application and will be accessible for live interaction by the petitioners and the public using the Zoom.

The hearing concerns an amendment to a previously approved Definitive (OSRD) Subdivision Plan entitled “Westview Estates“. The approved plan created a 21-lot subdivision with an open space parcel. The amended plan eliminates the proposed sidewalks. The applicant is also requesting to amend the Special Permit for the Open Space Residential Development, to reflect this change. The subject property is identified on Assessor’s Map 43 Lot 4.
