The hearing concerns a Definitive (OSRD) Subdivision Plan entitled “Golen Farms”, which proposes to create a 7-lot subdivision with a 12.52-acre open space parcel from a 20 acre tract of land. The property is located at 482 Fisher Road, Dartmouth, MA and identified on Assessor’s Map 37 Lot 20.

The plan was prepared for applicant Jose DeSousa for land owned by Donna Chase. The applicant is also requesting a Special Permit for an Open Space Residential Design, as provided for in Article 11 of the Zoning Bylaws, to allow waivers regarding frontage, lot size, front yard setback, side yard setback, rear setback, and lot coverage.

DARTMOUTH CONSERVATION COMMISSION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given that a meeting will be held in accordance with the provisions of the Dartmouth Wetlands Protection Bylaw and M.G.L., Ch. 131, §40, the Wetlands Protection Act, on the Notice of Intent from Daniel P. and Julia Moniz to construct a single-family dwelling with a garage, an in-ground swimming pool, driveway, sub-surface septic system, and a retaining wall within the 100-ft Buffer Zone to a Bordering Vegetated Wetland on land described as Map 41 Lot 50-5 or 3 Moniz Dr. The Conservation Commission voted in a Public Meeting to continue meeting virtually (via a Zoom Link) in accordance with the Governor’s 2023 extension of the virtual/hybrid open meeting option through March 31, 2025. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday September 10, 2024.
