The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries will hold their Spring Book Sale at the Southworth Library, 732 Dartmouth St., from Wednesday, May 3, to Saturday, May 6. 

Thousands of books, all in good condition, will be available for purchase, generally between 50 cents and $2.

The sale hours are Thursday, May 4, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Friday, May 5, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Friends of the Libraries memberships can be renewed or purchased at the door throughout the sale. All members will receive a coupon for one free regularly priced book.

Proceeds from the sale allow the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries to offer free educational programs for adults and children; provide cost-saving passes for museums, parks and zoos; host the annual Molly Little Film Series; and fund special library events and purchases.
