Listen to the trees: Lloyd Center hosting third annual ‘Music in the Woods’

The Lloyd Center for the Environment’s Third Annual Music in the Woods invites Lloyd Center members and the general public to enjoy a musical afternoon on the Center’s trails and grounds of the Lloyd Center. Musicians include the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, Spindle River Rats and the Gropina recorder quintet, among others.
The event is free for Lloyd Center members and $50 for non-members. This year, non-members that reserve a ticket also get a free family membership at the Lloyd Center.
Food will be provided by the Oxcart from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., but they only take cash. Cup of Jo Jo’s Coffee Truck will also be there, serving organic coffee, tea, baked goods and pastries.
The center will also have self-guided activities for children and an owl presentation for each 2-hour session.

Attendees can choose their preferred event time, including 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., or 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Registration covers one car.
