The Lloyd Center for the Environment is hosting a pop-up holiday oyster sale with oysters from Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms to benefit the center’s education programs. 

Supporters can order fresh oysters by the dozen for $25, as well as shucking knives for $15 each. Oysters will keep well for up to 10 days under refrigeration.

A reusable, thermal Lloyd Center bag will be given to all those ordering a minimum of a dozen oysters and a shucking knife. After placing an order, supporters will also receive an email with links to a shucking video and recipe for grilled oysters.

Supplies are limited so early orders are recommended. All orders must be placed and pre-paid by Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 5 p.m. 

Oysters may be purchased online at lloydcenter.org/pop-up-holiday-oyster-sale, or by leaving a message at (508) 990-0505 x10. Every purchase includes a donation to support Lloyd Center education programs.

All orders must be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 19 between 1 and 3 p.m. at the Lloyd Center’s Welcome Center located at 430 Potomska Road in Dartmouth. The Lloyd Center cannot be held responsible for any orders not picked up during this period.

Lloyd Center clothing will also be available.
