Lloyd Center to host plover stroll

The Lloyd Center for the Environment will kick off the summer season with a two-hour guided walk through Demarest Lloyd State Park.
Attendees will learn about the park’s dynamic beach ecosystem and search for plovers, least terns and diamondback terrapins.
The group meets at Demarest Lloyd State Park on June 20 at 8 a.m.
Cost of admittance is $8 for members, $10 for non-members. Children under 12 get in for half price. Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. on June 19.
