The Lloyd Center is hosting a women's only canoe trip on the Slocum River on Friday, September 16, 5:30–8 p.m.

Participants—ages 15 and older—will meet at the Lloyd Center’s Visitor Center located at 430 Potomska Road, and there is a short hike through the Center's forest to the launch site. Wear clothing and footwear you don’t mind getting wet, and bring water. All other equipment is provided.

The pre-registration deadline is 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 15. The cost of the event is $25 for Lloyd Center members; $30, non-members.
