Margaret A. (Newhall) Neville, 76
Margaret A. (Newhall) Neville, 76, of Dartmouth died February 17, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Neville.
Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Marion T. (Brady) Newhall, she was raised in Taunton and lived in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth.
Neville enjoyed gardening and the company of her pets, Ginger and Coco. She was proud to attend the graduation of her grandson Jim from the Bristol County Sheriff's Academy as a deputy sheriff.
Survivors include her four sons: Richard F. Neville, Jr. and his wife Carol of Raynham, David Neville and his companion Betsy of Carver, James Neville and his wife Sandra of New Bedford and Christopher Collins and his wife Laura of Buffalo, NY; three brothers, Harold Newhall, Jr. and his wife Florence of Florida, Robert Newhall and his wife Teresa of East Taunton and Michael Newhall of South Yarmouth; two sisters, Geraldine Newhall and Rosemarie Newhall, both of Taunton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Brian D. Neville and the sister of the late William Newhall and Christine Westcoat.
Visiting hours and a prayer service was held on February 20. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Center for Animal Rescue & Education, 111 Main St., Acushnet, MA 02743.
