The Maryada Family Foundation presented Dartmouth High School student Everett Costa an award at the school’s award night May 24. 

The foundation recognizes students that have made great strides during their high school years, according to teacher and school counselor nominations. 

Costa was chosen because he steadily improved his grades throughout high school and joined more and more extracurricular activities. 

Foundation board member Rishi Bal Singh presented the award to Costa at the awards night.

The Singh family, who live in Dartmouth, started the foundation in 2014 to promote science and education.
