Come on out for a night of movies, games, ice cream and police cars on Friday, Aug. 23. 

The free Summer Outdoor Movie Night co-hosted by the Dartmouth Police Department and Dartmouth Police Athletic League and will take place at Apponagansett Park. 

The gates will open at 6 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:45 p.m. Popcorn and drinks will be available at no cost.

The department will be showing the 2015 Pixar film “Inside Out,” which follows a young girl and her emotions as personified characters as she undergoes her first big move. 

Attendees are encourages to bring blankets, chairs and bug spray. Carpooling is recommended for parking purposes.
