Natural gas assistance available

Sep 1, 2021

Dartmouth is offering a natural gas fuel assistance program that will offer direct payments of up to $300 to natural gas providers of qualifying households.

Preference will be given to consumers who have a household income between 60 and 80 percent of the state’s median income level and/or have experienced a short-term financial setback due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

While preference will be given to those who meet those criteria, customers experiencing a financial setback that results in difficulty paying their natural gas bills will be considered.

Applications are available on town.dartmouth.ma.us or by contacting Cody Haddad, director of development. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, Oct.12 via mail, email, or in-person submission to the Development and Grants Office. Any questions about this program should be addressed to Haddad at (508) 910-1883 or chaddad@town.dartmouth.ma.us.
