Natural Resources Trust to hold “Pop-up paddle” Aug. 22

Aug 19, 2022

The Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust will hold a “Pop-up Paddle” at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 22 at Russells Mills Landing (50 Horseneck Rd.).

During the event, DNRT staff will lead participants down to the bend in Slocums River before turning around and coming back.

The trip is about 4 miles long and usually takes about 2 hours to complete, but attendees can always turn back early if they are getting tired.

The DNRT will not be providing kayaks, paddles, or life preservers, so guests must be prepared to bring their own gear.

Kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes are all acceptable.

All guests must sign a waiver (available here) and wear a life vest.
