Dartmouth police arrested a New Bedford man for allegedly breaking into a vehicle on March 18.

According to police, an officer responded to Hemlock Street on a report of a male breaking into a vehicle at 12:30 p.m. The officer observed a man walking on Cove Road who allegedly matched the suspect description.

After an investigation, 23-year-old Rey Pimentel was arrested and charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle during the daytime for a felony and larceny under $250.
