A New Bedford man accused of having repeatedly exposed his genitals to employees of the Dartmouth Mall H&M store was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 7, according to Dartmouth Police.

Police were called to the scene after the suspect, Jeremiah Moran, 34, returned to the store and was recognized. He had reportedly exposed himself in the fitting room multiple times since January.

After identifying the suspect as Moran and taking statements from staff members at the store, Dartmouth Police Officer Alec Grant arrested Moran and charged him with open and gross lewdness.

“We have no place for activity such as this in our community,” said Dartmouth Police Chief Brian P. Levesque. “I’m very pleased that my officers were able to locate and arrest him before he could do this again.”
