A New Bedford Man was injured Tuesday night when he was struck by a vehicle on State Road in Dartmouth.

The pedestrian, identified by the Dartmouth Police Department as 30-year-old Chad Bradley, was hit by 32-year-old Matthew Penacho of Westport at around 9 p.m.

Police say Bradley was injured and transferred to Rhode Island Hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.
