New Bedford woman arrested on drug charges

Dartmouth Police arrested a New Bedford woman on drug-related charges on January 16.
According to police, officers responded to a reported disturbance at the Anytime Fitness parking lot on State Road. The report involved a male and female observed inside a vehicle.
When police arrived, the car was no longer in the parking lot. The vehicle was located on Hawthorne Street a short time later by a Dartmouth officer.
During an investigation, police allegedly found 10 grams of crack cocaine, $500 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Officers arrested Brittney Arsenault, 18, of New Bedford. She is charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and battery on a police officer.
