A 17-year-old driver sustained minor injuries in a motor vehicle accident that occurred near 913 Old Fall River Road on Saturday, Feb. 15, according to Dartmouth Police.

Around 3:54 p.m., the Dartmouth Police and other emergency personnel responded to the scene of the accident where a gray Chevy Malibu had crashed into a house and a tree after deviating from the roadway. The accident caused significant damage to the vehicle and the property.

The driver, who is from Fall River, was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The accident is currently under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Department and charges are pending.
