On Wednesday, October 24th, from 1 to 3 p.m. local artist Jane Bregoli will teach a class on “Oriental Brush Painting” at Southworth Library, 732 Dartmouth St. 

Students will learn simple brushwork techniques using traditional materials.

Bregoli is a retired art teacher and the author and illustrator of “The Goat Lady.”

The class, sponsored by the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries, is free, but space is limited to 15 students. Those interested must sign up at the front desk in the library. Materials will be included.
