Padanaram Bridge will now be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic until Saturday, April 25 due to weather-related delays and an expanded scope of repairs, according to the Department of Public Works.

The bridge has been closed this week for electrical upgrades. 

It was previously slated to re-open on April 21.

Power to the bridge will be shut off during this period, and the bridge will remain in the ‘open to mariners’ position.
