The Dartmouth Cultural Center will be hosting its annual outdoor painting competition “Wet Paint Padanaram” on Saturday, September 26 this year.

Competing artists will paint any time from early morning to mid-afternoon all over Padanaram village, photograph their work, and upload the image at a specific link between 3 and 4 p.m. on the day.

Images will be available online for the public to view by 5 p.m.

People’s Choice Awards will be given to the top three works of art, with cash prizes provided by Jerry’s Artarama in Providence.

First place wins $200, second place wins $100, and third place wins $50.

Those who wish to purchase a work of art will be able to contact the artist and arrange payment and delivery/pick up.

Artists will receive more details the week before the event.

Enrollment is limited to 75 artists.

Rain date is Sunday, September 27.
