On May 5, photography historian and genealogist Maureen Taylor will be giving a talk on her Last Muster project at the Dartmouth Grange from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The Last Muster Project tells the stories of the men and women who helped fight for our country during the Revolutionary War through a collection of daguerrotypes as well as three short videos.

The blurry photographs of the war’s heroes and veterans, made long after the end of the struggle, can tell us a lot about our own history.

Taylor is a nationally recognized historian and genealogist who specializes in interpreting photographs.

Refreshments will be provided by the event sponsors, the Dartmouth Heritage Preservation Trust.

The Grange is located at 1133 Fisher Road in Russells Mills Village.
