Police arrest Dartmouth man for car break in
Dartmouth Police arrested a man on September 26 after connecting him to reports of a car break in.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., Officer Justin Amaral stopped Michael Daly, 21, of Dartmouth after receiving a call for a suspicious male riding a bike on Slocum Road. Amaral located Daly riding a bike in close proximity to where the call had originated from, according to police.
While speaking with Daly, a male arrived on scene and informed the officer that Daly had just broken into his vehicle, and took his wallet, said police.
The stolen property was located on Daly after a brief investigation, according to police. Daly was charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle during the daytime for a felony, larceny of a credit card, and larceny under $250.
