Two Dartmouth men may no longer be friends after one allegedly assaulted the other while driving around, and then proceeded to steal his car.

An 18-year-old man reported that Kodie Lefevre, 20, of 787 Tucker Road, had assaulted him and then drove off with his 2002 Volkswagen Passat while they were driving on Allen Street on January 1, said police.

Officer Shawn Souza stopped Lefevre around 10:15 p.m. and arrested him.

Lefevre was charged was carjacking, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, and assault and battery.
