Police arrest man for allegedly exposed himself to multiple women
A Dartmouth man accused of exposing himself to multiple women has been taken into custody.
According to Dartmouth police, Jose Luis Diaz was arrested on July 28 after several women accused him of exposing himself to them.
Diaz is facing charges of open and gross lewdness, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation.
At the time of his arrest, he was driving a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. UMass Dartmouth police had been searching for a suspect driving a similar minivan in connection to an incident which occurred on campus on July 26.
According to UMass Dartmouth police, a man matching Diaz’ description exposed himself on campus. Campus police issued an advisory the next day advising the community to contact police if he was spotted on campus.
