Dec 8, 2021

Dartmouth Police responded to a series of car breaks the weekend of Dec. 4 and 5 in the area of Dartmouth Street and Bliss Corner, police said.

In the wake of these break-ins, the department has released the following advice to reduce the chances of a car break.

Lock your vehicle.

Park in a well-lit area if at all possible.

Never leave personal belongings or money inside the vehicle.

If you have security cameras, review the footage daily.

If you see someone acting suspiciously, call the police department immediately.

The department reminds the public that “If you like it, lock it.’’
