Police seek identity of armed bank robbery suspect

Police are seeking help to identify a suspect who robbed the Bristol County Savings Bank on State Road at knifepoint Monday morning.

Officers responded to the call at approximately 11:52 a.m.

According to police, an unidentified white male entered the bank, threatened a teller with a knife and demanded money.

After exiting the bank with the money, the male allegedly ran west toward Walmart. After a search of the area, the suspect was not located.

The male is described as being approximately 5’7” with a stocky build and brown hair. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing gray sweatpants, a hooded sweatshirt, black sneakers, and a white surgical mask.
