Landscape photographer Victor Simas went for a stroll along the Apponagansett Landing on May 26 for one of his more popular scenes. "I've got tons of sunset photos," he said via telephone.

Growing up around Dartmouth, Simas said Apponagansett is one of his "go-tos." With his Canon 7D, he took the photo above.

"Sometimes a plain evening isn't very good for photos, but I knew there would be some clouds there so I went," said Simas.
