Reverend Comeau to teach coping class at Smith Neck

Sep 10, 2015

Smith Neck Friends Meeting is sponsoring a six-week discussion group called “Coping with Life with Help from the Scriptures.”

The discussions will be guided by Reverend Bill Comeau, who teaches the class “Coping with Life, Death & Dying” at Bristol Community College, and will explore simple strategies to come to terms with life and death.

The group will gather on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning on Sept. 23. The class runs until Oct. 28.

Comeau will be basing his discussions around the book he authored for his college course, “The Art of Creative Coping.” Books will be provided by Smith Neck Friends Meeting to anyone interested in attending the class.

Copies of the book are also available at sugarhousepress.com.

The six-week discussion group will gather in the meeting room at Smith Neck Friends Meeting, located at 594 Smith Neck Road.
