Richard L. Correia, age 44 of Dartmouth passed away on Monday January 13, 2020 at home after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

A native of Pawtucket, Rhode Island son of Richard and Mary (Sequin) Correia, husband of Laurie (Bourgeois) Correia and former husband of Mercedes Auger.

Richard worked as a distributor for Market Basket until his diagnosis. He enjoyed Marvel Comics and collecting autographed cards. He is survived by two sons Matthew and Richard Correia, Jr., a stepdaughter Alyssa Rivet, sister Roseann Correia and nieces and a nephew.

Funeral Mass was held Friday January 17 at Saint Mary's Church in South Dartmouth. Burial in the Rural Cemetery.
