The Dartmouth Department of Public Works will be reconstructing portions of Slocum Road on Aug. 23 and 24.

The work will be done from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Reconstruction will take place on Slocum Road from Allen Street to State Road. Local detours will be posted as necessary.

DPW advises that no parking will be allowed in these areas.
