Ruth C. (Crichton) Blenkhorn, 90
Ruth C. (Crichton) Blenkhorn, 90, of Dartmouth, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 13 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Henderson) Crichton.
Born in Boston, Ruth resided in Bar Harbor, Maine, Quincy, Milton and the past 17 years in Dartmouth where she was a member of Dartmouth Bible Church.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and was employed as a Nursing Home Administrator at Baptist Home in Chestnut Hill and worked at the Quincy Crisis Center until her retirement. She also was employed as a tax preparer for H & R Block for many years.
Ruth was a member of the Order Of The Eastern Star and participated in a ladies painting group while residing in Milton. She was an avid swimmer and snow skier.
Her family includes her daughter, Susan R. Brunette and her husband, Ron, with whom she resided; three sons, Stephen Blenkhorn and his wife, Caren of Naples, Florida, David C. Blenkhorn of Holderness, New Hampshire and Carl J. F. Blenkhorn and his wife, Diane of Deerfield, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren, Rachael and Benjamin Blenkhorn, Sara and Zachary Blenkhorn, Brittany Eckel and her husband, James, Emma and Carl Blenkhorn and Leia and Andrew Brunette; a niece, Lisa Bryant and her husband, Ken of Plympton and four nephews, Mark and Stephen Generales and Scott and Eric Person.
She was the sister of the late June Person.

A memorial service will be conducted in Dartmouth Bible Church, 52 Morton Avenue, Dartmouth, MA 02747, Saturday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m.
