Discover creepy critters at the Lloyd Center during a special night hike.

The center will host its Creepy Critters Night Hike on October 25 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at its Potomska Rd. reserve.

During the event, participants will learn about owls, spiders, bats, snakes, and other creepy critters that live in the woods and come out at night. 

From there, participants will head out onto the nature trails to listen for some of these creatures at night. A nocturnal creature craft and light refreshments will end the evening. 

The hike is kid-friendly, and those attending should dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes. 

The cost is $8 for Lloyd Center members, $10 for non-members, and $24 for a family of four members, and $30 for a family of four non-members.
