Search for seals along Mishaum Point

Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust and the Lloyd Center will host a seal walk from Salters Point to Mishaum Point in Dartmouth on March 11, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The walk, led by the Lloyd Center’s Jamie Bogart, includes a search for wintering waterfowl and seals off of the shoreline. The walk is free, but registration is required, and as limited to 60 people. To register, call DNRT at (508) 991-2289 no later than March 9.

Those attending should wear sturdy shoes and should dress appropriately for the day’s weather, as the wind off of the bay can be very cold even in the sun. The walk will cover three miles and last for about 2-3 hours.
