Secret Garden Tour Fundraiser

Apr 10, 2019

A selection of private gardens will be open to members of the public for one day in June and one day in July for a fundraiser to benefit Coastal Neighbors, a community nonprofit for elderly Dartmouth residents.

Participants will be able to tour eight secret and spectacularly designed gardens at peak flowering season  — four on Saturday, June 22 and four on Saturday, July 13 — from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Along the way, a variety of planted containers — donated from local florists and nurseries including Avant Gardens, Dahlia Living, Eden Florist & Garden Shop, Garlington Florist, Morgado Landscape & Nursery, Peckham’s Greenhouse, and Village Gardens — will be raffled off.

Coastal Neighbors helps local seniors remain at home and stay connected through virtual communities.

Tour tickets go on sale May 1 at www.coastalneighborsnetwork.org. Rain dates will be Sunday, June 23 and Sunday, July 14.

Ticket holders will meet at the Silverbrook Farm Stand on 592 Chase Road to receive their map of the Dartmouth gardens of the day. Bag lunches may be ordered from Mimi or Jodi at Farm & Coast Market (774) 992-7093.
